Michigan was for lovers last night as Hawthorne Heights made their mark at Elevation at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI bringing Armor For Sleep and Spitalfield along for the ride on the Pitch Black Forever Tour. An explosion of nostalgia erupted as the crowd sang in a chorus like fashion to every word. Comers new and old celebrated in comradery of angst and depression as these emo bands rocked just as hard as they did 20 years ago, never missing a single beat. The energy was magnetic through all three bands and only seemed to intensify as the night went on. "Michigan, you better not let us down," the band exclaimed after the first song and disappoint they did not.
