Rage is nothing of a quiet thing for the usually buoyant quintet.

Known for their enlightening lyrics and 80s inspired indie poptimism, comes a new and empowering wave for the NYC band and we are fully embracing it.

“Out of Your Mind” brings us heavy guitars and echoing vocals coming down exclaiming a sound of resilience. Lead singer, Mandy Lee, is not shying away from getting bloody and messy with new techniques as the production brings our eardrums into some sort of dystopia.

You can almost taste it as the vocals go back and forth from each ear to the other, as if tickling your brain just right during the pre-chorus and then explodes in a chant-like declaration making you go ‘outta your goddamn mind.’

Even with the new grunge sound, Misterwives still maintains their high energy as they continue to evolve.

Since leaving Fueled By Ramen and the departure of Jesse Blum both in 2021, many wondered what the future would look like for the band and they seem to be both maturing and experimenting with their independent label Resilient Little Records. And this track is resilient as ever.
