Five months after her release of “Always Love,” Lauren Jauregui reels her audience back

into her brilliant mind with the release of “Trust Issues.”

Jauregui’s soulful voice captivates listeners as she effortlessly narrates her internal

struggle with allowing new people both into her heart and the inner workings of her brain. Laid

over a lowkey, calming track, Lauren tells a story with the lyrics “When I was young my Mama

told me, Loving can be lonely.”

Any single one of Lauren’s fans, Coven members to be precise,

can tell you that Lauren consistently speaks of how close she is with her mother. This deeply

personal line will have listeners reminiscing on their past selves, young children who went to

their mother’s to help comfort any worldly woe that might rain over their mind.

Lauren’s raspy voice flows over the track, pouring emotion out with every beautifully

crafted lyric. This is nothing new to Lauren’s fans, though, as with every song she releases, every

rhyme is perfected down to a T. From one R&B fan to the next, “Trust Issues” is a must-listen-to

track.
